Kaaya Skin And Hair Studio

Glow Facial in London, Ontario

The Treatment

What is a Glow Facial?

Our Glow Facial is a full-face treatment built around three things done properly: a real cleanse, a level of exfoliation your skin can comfortably handle, and nourishment that stays with you after you leave. It is the treatment we recommend when the goal is radiance rather than correcting a specific clinical concern.
Every step is chosen at the treatment bed rather than in advance. Oily, congested skin gets a longer steam and more extraction time. Dry or reactive skin gets enzyme exfoliation and a richer, more occlusive mask. The session finishes with a facial and shoulder massage that moves lymph and lifts circulation — part of why the glow is visible before you have left the studio.
It is also the most sensible first appointment if you have never had a professional facial. Nothing about it is aggressive, it gives us a clear read on how your skin actually behaves under treatment, and it tells us which of the advanced options on our menu would genuinely suit you next.

Benefits

Why Choose Glow Facial at Kaaya

An hour that shows on your face immediately — and tells us how to treat your skin properly from here.

Immediate radiance

Exfoliation, massage and circulation together lift dullness so skin looks brighter as soon as you sit up.

A properly deep cleanse

Double cleansing, steam and hand extractions clear congestion that home cleansing simply cannot reach.

Hydration that holds

Layered serum, mask and moisturiser leave the skin comfortable and plump rather than tight after exfoliation.

Softer, smoother texture

Gentle enzyme or acid exfoliation refines the surface without stripping or over-sensitising the barrier.

Genuinely relaxing

The facial and shoulder massage is a real part of the treatment, not a token thirty seconds at the end.

Suits every skin type

Because each step is chosen for you, the same treatment works for oily, dry, combination and sensitive skin.

The Ritual

How your Glow Facial runs

A calm hour with a clear structure — and every step adjusted to what your skin is doing today.

01

Consultation & skin reading

We look at hydration, oil, sensitivity and congestion, and ask what your skin has been doing lately, before deciding anything.

02

Double cleanse

An oil-based cleanse dissolves makeup and sunscreen, then a water-based cleanse takes the skin properly back to clean.

03

Exfoliation

Enzyme, a gentle acid or a fine polish — chosen for your skin type and how reactive it has been recently.

04

Steam & extractions

Warm steam softens the pore lining and congestion, blackheads and whiteheads are cleared carefully by hand.

05

Facial & shoulder massage

Lymphatic drainage and circulation work that de-puffs, relaxes the jaw and shoulders, and brings colour back to the face.

06

Mask, serum, moisturiser & SPF

A treatment mask suited to your skin, then serum, moisturiser and broad-spectrum sunscreen to finish.

Glow Facial vs Hydro Facial vs Korean Facial — Which Is Right for You?

Three facials with no downtime — the difference is how deeply they clean and how long they fake.

How Glow Facial Compares With Hydro Facial and Korean Facial

Glow Facial Hydro Facial Korean Facial
How it works Cleanse, exfoliate, extract, massage, mask Water-based exfoliation with vortex suction Layered K-beauty ritual with meso boosters
Best for Radiance and general maintenance Congestion, blackheads, dehydration Deep hydration and glass-skin glow
Downtime None None None
Typical course Every 4–6 weeks Monthly Every 4–6 weeks

These are guides rather than rules. At consultation we look at your skin and tell you which of the three will actually move the needle for your concern.

Suitability

Is a Glow Facial right for you?

A great fit if you want to…

This is one of the easiest treatments to adapt, which is why it suits sensitive skin and why it is usually our recommendation during pregnancy and breastfeeding — we can leave out retinoids and strong acids entirely and still give you a genuinely good result. Tell us at booking and we will plan around it.

Concerns it helps with:

Dullness
Dehydration
Tired-looking skin
Mild congestion
Rough texture
Pre-event prep
First-time facial

Before you book: when this treatment is not appropriate

We will also be straight with you about what a Glow Facial will not do. If your concern is established pigmentation, indented scarring or persistent breakouts, this treatment will make your skin look better on the day but it is not what resolves the underlying issue. In that case we would point you toward a chemical peel, microneedling or a customised acne plan instead.

If this is not quite the right treatment

If congestion and blackheads are the real problem, a Hydro Facial clears pores far more thoroughly. If you want maximum plumping the day before an event, an Oxygen Facial is the one to book. And for skin aged roughly twelve to nineteen, our Teen Facial is designed specifically for younger skin.

Questions

Glow Facial FAQs — London, Ontario

How is a Glow Facial different from a Korean Facial?
A Glow Facial is a classic European-structure facial focused on radiance in a single session. A Korean Facial is longer and more layered, adding carboxy therapy, dedicated meso boosters and sheet mask therapy for a deeper, glass-skin style result. Start with a Glow Facial if you want radiance; choose the Korean Facial if you want the full K-beauty ritual.
Anywhere from the day before to a week ahead — there is no downtime. Because extractions can leave brief pinkness, two to three days before is the sweet spot for photographs.
Every four to six weeks keeps congestion under control and matches your skin’s natural turnover cycle. Many clients alternate a Glow Facial with a stronger treatment across the year.
Generally yes, with adjustments. We leave out retinoids, strong acids and any actives you have been advised to avoid. Let us know at booking so the whole treatment is planned appropriately.
It will help with congestion, blackheads and dullness, but it is not a treatment plan for acne. If breakouts are your main concern, a customised acne treatment is designed specifically for that and works on a proper course.
